Davie Community Foundation Grants

Davie County Schools

Davie County Schools received a grant of $28,100 for Leadership Development in Davie County Schools. This project will benefit Davie County Schools' community, staff and students by investing in leadership development to strengthen district-wide learning, communication, and decision-making. The Board of Education will participate in Five Voices workshops, one in November 2026 and one in spring 2027, to enhance collaborative leadership and understanding of individual communication styles. District instructional leaders will attend two Standards-Based Reporting workshops, a component of the High Reliability Schools framework, providing parents and students with accurate, actionable feedback on student progress each quarter. Additionally, the district’s MTSS (Multi-Tiered Systems of Support) team, representing diverse educational roles, will attend two All Means All workshops to strengthen inclusive practices and data-driven decision-making that support every student’s success. Together, these initiatives equip Davie County Schools leaders with the tools and strategies needed to improve student outcomes and foster a cohesive, equitable learning community.
