Where Are They Now? Samantha James Joyner

Samantha James Joyner, former Roy and Ruth Eldridge scholarship recipient, received her Bachelor of Science in Health and Exercise Science from Wake Forest University in 2013. Her time at Wake Forest was filled with involvement in Intervarsity Christian Fellowship, RUF (Reformed University Fellowship), and the Screamin’ Demons, a club that supports various athletic programs on campus. Where Are They Now? – Morgan Costner

Morgan Coster graduated from Davie County High School in 2008 and was a recipient of the White-Martin Scholarship. To Morgan, Davie County means home. She shares, “Being in Davie County brings back so many memories that I cherish like high school graduation, dance recitals, my first job as a pharmacy technician and Friday night football games. Where are they now? – Elizabeth Davis

Now that the application to become a member of  the S.U.R.F. Board is open, we are excited to share the successes of Elizabeth Davis, a former S.U.R.F. Board member and recipient of the Rotary Club of Mocksville and Roy and Ruth Eldridge scholarships. Where Are They Now? – Kacy Yount

As scary and unsettling as COVID-19 may be, for a student such as Kacy Yount, it is proving to be an interesting learning experience. Kacy is a recipient of the Rotary Club of Mocksville, Roy and Ruth Eldridge, and Grady McClamrock, Sr scholarships. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Immunology and is a fourth year PhD candidate in the Biomedical Sciences Graduate Program at The Ohio State University.
