Just HOPE, Inc.Family Day CenterFunds will be used to operate the Day Centerpaying for expenses such as accomodations, utilities, printing & supplies, laundry facility,pantry food and hot mnutricious meals, guest speeakers, workshop costs, and outreach outingss for families.$10,000
Family Promise of Davie CountyDay Shelter ProgramFunding will be used to pay a portion of the day center operations - Wi-Fi, telephones, showers, laundry, and support personnel. Families enrolled in the program have access 7 days a week, 365 days a year.$8,225
Big Brothers Big Sisters Services, Inc.Site Based Program (Big Buddy Program)Funding will support the Big Buddy Program that matches volunteer mentors with 160 elementary school children at 8 after-school sites.$10,500
William R. Davie Elementary SchoolSummer of Fun Learning AcademyFunds will be used to pay salaries for teachers and assistants and supplies for summerreading and math camp.$9,972
Davie County SchoolsSTEM Pipeline Summer Camp & RetreatFunds will pay for teacher salaries for a 10-day STEM Camp for 7th graders and an additional 5-day camp for 8th graders.$10,000
Davie County Recreation and ParksBocce and Horseshoe Courtyard Project - DC ParkFunding will be used installation of two professional boccee courts, two professional horseshoe pits and seating.$40,000
Cornatzer Elementary SchoolSummer Camp: Grades 1-4Funds will pay for salaries for teachers and assistants, field trips and transportation for summer reading camp.$10,760
Pinebrook Elementary SchoolPRIDE Summer CampFunds will pay salaries for teachers and assistants for summer reading camp.$7,100
Pinebrook Elementary SchoolLeader in MeFunds will support training, coaching, workbooks, and fees for the second year of the Leader in Me program. Year two aligns academics. The Leader in Me teaches leadership principles to children based on "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People" by Stephen Covey.$15,000
Dragonfly House Children's Advocacy CenterThe Dragonfly House Capital Campaign - Building FundFunding will be used toward construction costs of the new facility located at 387 Valley Road in Mocksville. Dragonfly House serves boys and girls, ages birth through 17, who have experienced any form of abuse.$50,000
The Cares Project, Inc.The CARes Project, Inc.Funds will be used to pay for car loans given to low income credit-challenged working program participants in Davie County. Clients must complete a financial education course prior to purchasing their car and continue counseling throughout the loan process.$20,000
Cooleemee Elementary SchoolA Pirate's VoyageFunds will be used to pay for teacher and assistant salaries and supplies for summer reading camp.$6,992
Smart Start of Davie CountyNurturing Parenting ProgramFunds will be used for the Nurturing Parenting Program that provides parenting education and family support. The program is held in 10-week increments where parents meet with a Certified Parent Educator. Funds will pay for an entire10 week session.$8,000
Cornatzer Elementary SchoolMiddle School Transition Girls Team Building NightFunding will pay for a team building night for Cornatzer & Shady Grove girls who will be transitioning to Ellis Middle School next year. Grant will pay for snacks, dinner and materials. School counselors will help the 75 girls with healthy relationship building.$500
