was highlighted at the Pearls of Empowerment Spring Membership Social March 16th at Triple J Manor House in Mocksville. The Cat in the Hat greeted more than sixty five Pearls and guests. Thank you again to all attendees who brought children’s books that will be donated to local agencies!
Each Pearl and guest had a fun time matching bright shapes, introducing themselves to new friends and announcing facts to the group about past Pearl’s grants. Door prizes provided by several local businesses were given as ladies enjoyed delicious snacks and smoothies. Members of Pearls participate in a wide variety of philanthropic efforts annually through their local grants.
During this event, the Pearl’s strand grew by two new members. Pearls of Empowerment is a women’s giving circle organized under the Davie Community Foundation.
