The SURF Board Youth Grantmakers had to make their most difficult decisions to date in June. They had 7 spots available for the 2016-17 SURF Board and 21 applicants for the spots!
SURF met for 5 ½ hours interviewing, discussing and finally voting to select the seven. All of the candidates were qualified making the decision very difficult.
SURF is excited to welcome Abby Boger, Jonathan Foster, Lilli Haire, Mikhail Harris, Parker Prysiaznick, Cassi Shires, and Evan Steele to the 2016-17 board! They will meet to get to know one another and participate in team building activities in August. “We look forward to another great year with the new board!” said Tami Daniel, SURF Advisor.
