The Pearls of Empowerment, Davie Community Foundation’s women’s giving circle, will host “Radiant for Life”, as part of their new Discover & Dine Series. “Radiant for Life” will be an educational fun evening with Susan Locke, owner Bella Mia Spa & Skin Care Center.
The event will be hosted on Thursday, October 8th, from 5:30pm – 7:00pm at the Bethlehem United Methodist Church Family Life Center. Ladies of all ages in the community are invited and encouraged to attend. Reservations are required.
Susan’s business has been located in Advance/ Bermuda Run for 14 years and she absolutely loves Davie County! Prior to opening Bella Mia, Susan owned three I Natural Cosmetics stores in Hanes Mall, Salisbury Mall and Secaucus Mall, NJ. She has 35 years of experience as a licensed esthetician and was trained at Atelier Esthetique in NYC and Sothys Institute de Beaute’ in Paris. For many years Susan was the health and beauty commentator for WFMY-TV’s The Good Morning Show. She is proud to be one of the very few non-medical spas authorized to carry IS CLINICAL SKINCARE and NEOVA product lines.
Susan’s presentation will highlight the ingredients that help fight signs of aging without invasive medical procedures. She will demonstrate some makeup tricks she learned from Marilyn Monroe’s makeup artist that “take years off the face”. She also will focus on keeping younger faces looking young. Susan has dedicated her professional career to helping people look and feel great naturally.
Meals for Discover & Dine must be pre-ordered for $8.00 each. Choices include: Cream of Broccoli Soup and Assorted Sandwiches or Cream of Broccoli Soup and Garden Salad. Beverages and dessert will also be provided.
