The POPSICLE 5K lived up to its name in February as runners braved the cold wind and snow filled sidewalks! Approximately 140 runners ran through the streets of downtown Mocksville while eating a popsicle as part of the Brain Freeze Challenge. Other brave souls participated in the Popsicle Palozza which had to go to a tie breaker before declaring a frosty winner. It was a cold but successful event raising more than $4,300 for youth-led project grants in Davie County.
