The Community Foundation of Davie County
serves to "provide pathways for caring
people to leave a legacy that will shape the
future of our community."
Unrestricted funds and
donations allow the Community Foundation to
address needs within the Davie County community. The Foundation accepts requests/proposals for projects within Davie County that
impact Literacy or Youth. At this time, we do not review proposals outside of Davie County or make grants or loans to individuals.
The Community Foundation of Davie County:
-
Creates partnerships with grantee organizations, working together for the benefit of the community.
-
Invests in the Davie County community. We encourage strong leadership, strong financial management practices, and executable goals and strategies.
Foundation Priorities
The Foundation will concentrate its grant making on proposals from non-profit organizations within Davie County that address Youth or Literacy issues. Proposals must benefit, in general,
all of the citizens of the county. In an effort to strengthen community leadership, requests for Capacity Building and strengthening of non-profit organizations that impact these areas will be considered.
Our process for submitting a grant proposal is easy to follow.
-
Complete a Notification of Intent form. Mail, fax, or e-mail it to the Foundation office.
-
We will review your Notification of Intent within one week of receipt. If your proposal falls within the requirements and interest of the Foundation, we will send you a Grant Application for completion.
